founding story

We are a small private practice dedicated to providing supports to individuals with complex communication need and their families and teams.  Galilee earned a Master's of science and Occupational Therapy from Sage Graduate School in 2002 Magna Cum Laude. She is a Wellspring Guild trained Text-Based Assistive Technology/Augmentative and Alternative Communication Coach and Trainer in Training. 

Galilee's story in a nutshell: 

As a teenager, I had formative experiences volunteering in a Camphill Community in Portugal, and meeting Sharissa, an autistic advocate who typed to communicate.  Following many years of productive work in the field of Sensory Integration therapy, a group of wonderful families asked me to learn to be a a text-based communication provider.  I recall a parent saying, "I think you would find it really fun." After training in the method and seeing what an effective modality it can be, not only is it fun, I actually find that individuals and families deem it indispensable. 

This has catapulted me into a world where I get to witness incredible stories of triumph daily.  I feel much gratitude to be able to accompany extraordinary individuals on this complex wonderful journey to unlocking potential.
